Welcome to our rapidly changing and growing Primary School. We are three years into a transition process that ends in 2018/19 when we will have all year groups from Nursery to Year 6.
The building work is due to finish in October 2017 when we plan to move some of our Key Stage 2 children into their new classrooms.
We were judged as “Good” by Ofsted in 2014 when we were exclusively an Infants School.
We are recognised nationally as a Nurturing School, with the award of the kite mark reaccredited in 2014, only the 3rd school in the country to have achieved this for a second consecutive time.
Every year our Governors work hard with the management team to complete our Financial Value standard for excellent practice in financial management which has been successfully renewed for 2017.
In 2012 we were proud to be awarded Investors in Families which is a nationally recognised standard for working with families. We continue to maintain this standard and Marie Gauld, our Parent Support Advisor is always on hand to help with all aspects of family life.
We are a Healthy Norfolk School and will be aspiring to gain Eco Schools Bronze standard in 2017/18.
Our extensive grounds, exciting adventure playground, pond area, well stocked libraries, up to date computing equipment and supportive staff make our school a happy thriving environment for children in Great Yarmouth. This is why our children are kind, happy, lively and friendly and learn to develop a love of learning.
