Non-collection of children

If a child is not collected at the end of the session/day, we will:

  • Telephone all contacts on the child’s contact list
  • Provide care in the after school club.    If the child has not been collected by 5pm, care will be provided by a member of SLT.
  • If a parent/carer cannot be contacted, two members of staff will visit the home address(es) of parents/carers.
  • In the rare event that nobody can be contacted over a period of time after school, CADS or the police will be contacted.

The incident will be logged as a Cause for Concern and may need to be referred depending on the circumstances of the situation.
